A Red, White and Green Christmas

As we will be away from my family over Christmas, I decided to make a little something for my parents'  Christmas tree.

I had these ordinary metal frames in my 'to give away' carton and decided to create these photo ornaments as a keepsake.

I covered each of them with printed tape from my stash, a bit of quilling on one and a few punched out snowflakes on the other. I couldn't finish without adding some glam with glitter strips in the red and green hues of Christmas.

With a nip in the air and the colours from the Itsy Bitsy Picture Inspiration Challenge, it was a Christmas craft all the way! I even played carols in the background, much to my kids' amusement.

I had the Lulupu - Making Memories Challenge to thank for tying up my whole idea together, into this perfect grandparents gift.

Flutter By Butterfly

I have always dabbled with craft but usually for school projects or my work. This is the first time I have attempted card making and decided to start a blog.
My craft stash is limited but is on a growth curve as I'm getting completely hooked.

My first card is for my daughter who seems to be growing from her little cocoon ever so fast. Here's to you my beautiful butterfly.
